The exhibition combines photographs, written texts, and dance. Its themes include embodiment, sensuality, and the experience of dancing and moving in different environments.

Dancing Diamonds is a dance group based in Kokkola, consisting of three dancers with intellectual disabilities. The group, Maria Lahti, Jarmo Patana and Sanna Tornikoski, has previously performed works such as Quartet (2019) and Encounters (2023), which have been shown in various venues, including the Tampere Theatre Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The exhibition’s photographs are by photographer Salla Keskinen, who specializes in self-portraiture and multisensory artistic methods. The photos were taken according to the dancers’ wishes, allowing them to decide how they want to be seen.
The exhibition texts were created under the guidance of creative writing instructor Hanna Dufva and are written by the dancers themselves. The texts express what dancing, the body, and sensory experiences feel like.
The group’s activities are coordinated by choreographer Kati Raatikainen, whose work focuses on embodiment and accessibility.

“See Me Beautiful” Project
I will continue to be part of the Community Dances association's project for seniors during 2025–2026. I lead weekly sessions on Tuesdays in Pohjois-Haaga and Thursdays in Tapulikaupunki. The classes combine yoga, free movement, and other creative methods.

Humina ry
Humina ry is an association founded in spring 2022, focusing on art, community, inclusion, and embodiment. Its mission is to create, enable, and sustain artistic and cultural activity by and for its members—and especially artists working in the margins and local residents—through socio-ecologically sustainable practices.
We maintain a Humina Space collective in West Pasila in collaboration with other dance artists.
