I am a choreographer, performance artist, and teacher of movement and embodiment based in Helsinki. At the core of my artistic practice is an intersectional approach to the body, experience, animality, disability, ecology, the politics of the body, and participation. Through embodied agency, I aim to rethink how we as humans—and as a cross-species community—could coexist more equally and sustainably.

I have worked professionally in my field for nearly twenty years. Along the way, I have taught dance and performance art, served as a member of the artistic leadership of the Kokkola Winter Dance festival (2011–2022), studied and taught yoga and somatics, and worked as a lead teacher in the dance program and in a somatic yoga teacher training program at adult education college in Kälviä. I have also worked as a community artist. Currently, I serve as the chairperson of the Helsinki-based art association Humina ry and as part of the Humina space collective. In addition, I am responsible for the professional activities of Tanssivat Timantit (Dancing Diamonds), a group of dancers with intellectual disabilities based in Kokkola.
